By law, I must provide this section (titled Terms of Use, Disclaimers & Privacy Policy) on my site. These sound like stilted legal terminology, but its to keep both you AND me safe from legal trouble. I am, after all, both a fansite and archive, and can contain stuff you wouldn't normally see provided in a fanshrine. These documents are written in accordance to the Laws within the United States of America, and may not reflect or apply correctly to any other countries laws, Sorry!

Terms of Use

This terms of use Agreement governs your use of the collection of Web pages and other digital content available through the Service.

DEFINITIONS: For the Purposes of these Legal Documents, the following Terms are defined as follows:

  • the "Novel Publishers", known as DEGENKI BUNKO.

WEBSITE DISCLAIMER: Endless Journey is a fanshrine and curated fan archive created and maintained to celebrate the light novel series KINO NO TABI -the Beautiful World-, whose story is written by novelist KEIICHI SIGSAWA and illustrated by KUROBOSHI KOUHAKU, as well as associated media to this Series. We also run and maintain a Fanlisting of which You may input your information to be shown on the Site as a list of fans of the Series. We are in NO WAY OFFICIAL, and We are NOT affiliated with the Novel Publishers or the Series Creators. The Site, Fanlisting, and its provided content is meant for fandom recreational use and reference ONLY. No copyright infringement is intended.

PROVIDED INFORMATION: All information on the Site is provided in good faith, however We make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information on the Site. Under no circumstance shall We have any liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the site or reliance on any information provided on the site. Your use of the site and your reliance on any information on the site is solely at your own risk.

EXTERNAL LINKS: We have not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material, including computer software, made available through the websites and webpages to which we, any user, or any provider of links, or that link to us. INDEMNITY: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Endless Journey and it's Fanlisting from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site and its content.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: You expressly understand and agree that in no event will We, Endless Journey, it's Fanlisting, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement or substitute products or services; (iii) interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; (iv) any statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any unauthorized access to or alterations of the Site's content. We shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond our reasonable control.

CHANGES: We may modify this Agreement from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of any and all modifications.

This Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and other policies posted on the Site constitute the full and complete agreement between you and Us, and are not intended to inure to third-party beneficiaries.

Privacy Policy

We care about data privacy and security, and as such, No data is passively collected while browsing Endless Journey. When you sign up for our Fanlisting, we only collect the data that is displayed in the form, as well as the submitters IP address for spam detection. We do not take responsibility for any data collected from sites that are linked within this Site.

COOKIES: As far as We are aware, no cookies are used by my website, however Namecheap (Our domain & hosting provider) may set a cookie for spam detection. A password is used to edit your data in the Fanlisting, however this is not a login.

WHERE YOUR INFORMATION GOES: Your name, e-mail (optional), and website (optional), as well as your IP and a user set password in the Fanshrine is retained within Our SQL database.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH: Any provided information is stored privately in Our Fanlisting's database, and your Name, email, and website are shared on a public list for the Fanlisting. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their email). We can also see and edit that information.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED: Your name, e-mail (optional), and website (optional), will be displayed on a public list of fans in the Fanlisting.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA: Any information provided is retained indefinitely until You request to delete it, or the site and its databases are taken down.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS: If you have submitted your data for the Fanlisting, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, and delete your data yourself using the password You set for yourself in the fanshrine.
